ClearedJobs.Net Announces National Military Appreciation Month Activities

May 3, 2011 – Falls Church, VA -- ClearedJobs.Net, a veteran-owned job site serving security cleared job seekers, encourages everyone to honor our country’s service members, veterans and their families during the month of May, National Military Appreciation Month.

Military Spouse Appreciation Day

To that end, ClearedJobs.Net continues its efforts to publicly recognize military spouses on Military Spouse Appreciation Day (MSAD). MSAD was first proclaimed by President Ronald Reagan in 1984.

ClearedJobs.Net's military spouse appreciation endeavor is an exclusive Twitter-specific initiative using the Twitter handle @MilSpouseDay. The objective is to express appreciation for military spouses, who often must endure months apart from their loved ones, uprooted lives, and the general uncertainty that comes with being the spouse of a military member. With a very active pool of military-to-civilian employment job seekers, ClearedJobs.Net believes recognizing the many sacrifices of military spouses is a relevant, meaningful cause.

ClearedJobs.Net uses Twitter to honor military spouses from all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. This year's @MilSpouseDay initiative is Monday, April 30 through MSAD on Friday, May 11. To follow ClearedJobs.Net's military spouse appreciation effort, visit the Twitter feed. To honor a military spouse who is on twitter, send a tweet to @MilSpouseDay.
