Windows Systems Administrator

The Windows Systems Administrator supports the Missile Defense Agency on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The successful candidate will have experience with the following: designing and implementing Windows based networks; Group Policy Management both local and domain; Windows 10; creating, advertising, and managing client images using Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). Must have a thorough understanding/knowledge of Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and DoD Information Assurance (IA) programs to include IAVA mitigations and CVT scans. Additional essential qualifications include being goal oriented, having a strong commitment to a team environment, an ability to quickly adapt to new situations, strong analytical background with accompanying troubleshooting skills, and good communication skills. Occasional travel may be required. This position will be located at one of the following locations: Schriever AFB, CO or Redstone Arsenal, AL.


Basic Requirements: Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: High School Diploma (or GED) and 8 years general experience; or Associate’s degree and 6 years general experience; or Bachelor’s degree and 4 years general experience. Must have 4 years directly related experience with the duties listed above. Requires strong Microsoft Windows Server 2012 or 2016 Active Directory experience. Background working with Dynamic Name Resolution (DNS), Group Policy Objects (GPO), Organizational Units (OU), Distributed File System (DFS), Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), and Active Directory Replication. Previous work experience as a Windows System Administrator supporting a large Enterprise. DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent). Must have an active DoD Secret clearance.

Desired Requirements: Titus Message Classification administration experience. Current Microsoft (MCSE, etc.) and/or other CompTIA (A+, Network+, Server+, etc) certifications. Experience using Remedy software and supporting a DoD customer.
