Perspecta has an immediate need for a Wideband Radio Technician (WRT)Training Specialist in the Washington DC area.


Description:  A training specialist will design, develop, and deliver hands-on training and eLearning curriculum for adult learners.  
Wideband Radio Technician (WRT) instructor  - Knowledge and skills  in the Wideband Radio discipline to install and validate the Radio Frequency infrastructure (fixed and mobile) at Presidential, Vice-Presidential, and First Lady trip-site locations; by determining the placement and configuration of equipment based on location; strong working knowledge of  basic telephony, networking theory, radio site selection, and Radio Frequency coverage requirements



Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher + 2 years of experience; or 5+ years of military/business training experience.
• Show verifiable training and experience as  a Wideband Radio Technician (WRT) or WRT Lead
• Possess a current TS/SCI with Presidential Support Duty (PSD) clearance.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
Required Skills:
• Experience developing courseware, writing training materials, delivering training, and setting up and maintaining a computer training environment, and using customer satisfaction surveys for course evaluation.
• Demonstrated experience writing training manuals (instructor and participant guides) and user manuals.
• Ability to design and produce training tools, such as printable job aids and quick reference guides.
• Ability to deliver train-the-trainer and instructor-led training.
• Ability to design and produce eLearning training material.
• Familiarity with standard instructional systems development models, such as ADDIE or Agile design.
• Ability to serve as the primary customer representative for development and delivery of customized training solutions and documentation.
• Ability to encourage classroom participation and facilitate change management for target audience.
• Ability to learn and apply customer needs/business knowledge to ensure client satisfaction of delivery outcomes.
