Weapons of Mass Destruction – Counterterrorism (WMD – CT) Officer

       

The WMD-CT Officer conducts quarterly assessments of the full scope of the IC collection efforts against WMD-CT targets by:

  • Evaluating existing multi-intelligence collection streams/sources; and extrapolating trends, opportunities and gaps in reporting specifics to the WMD-terrorism threat
  • Characterizing, in  a document, existing and shifting collection platforms within each Combatant Command while working with collection management and intelligence analysis components
  • Addressing critical WMD-CT gaps and utilizing the full range of CT and CP collection platforms against Tier 1 WMD-CT priorities
  • Drafting, editing, coordinating, and disseminating documents in preparation of collections management meetings
  • Creating and maintaining quarterly trend statistics on collection postures and responses.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience as an analyst, collector or mission manager dealing with WMD terrorist threats
  • Knowledge of the US IC, particularly collection elements and capabilities
  • Extensive experience and familiarity with the WMD-CT community and the current and historical threat streams associated with WMD Terrorism
  • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple IC organization; incorporating best practices and analytic approaches from multiple elements to drive novel IC projects
  • Demonstrated ability and experience producing finished intelligence assessments, reports, products and leading IC initiatives
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and teamwork skills at all levels of Government, industry and academia.
  • Experience with MS Office software
