This position is located at Warner Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.
This position supports the existing Northrop Grumman and Government program and engineering teams at RAFB as well as Melbourne, FL. Duties to include the review, assessment and update of aircraft maintenance and structural requirements and technical data for sustainment. Development of bill of materials and repair concepts required to accomplish heavy maintenance is required. Experience in the resolution of aging aircraft issues is preferred. Technical support and advisory of Government counterparts is a primary objective of this position. The demonstrated ability to work closely with Government counterparts is required.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 5+ years of experience as a Liaison, Structural Design or Structural Analysis Engineer for primary airframe structure and or aircraft subsystems or a Master's
in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 3+ years of experience as a Liaison, Structural Design or Structural Analysis Engineer for primary airframe structure and or aircraft subsystems
Experience interpreting 2D engineering detail and assembly drawings, bills of material and drawing notes.
Interim Security Clearance required to start
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with developing aircraft structural repairs
Experience with maintenance of aging aircraft
Experience with Military specifications and repair manuals
Prior experience interfacing with a DOD customer
