Trident Production Program Manager

The Trident Production Program Manager will report to the Director of Trident and Strategic Strike and will regularly interact with IPT and program leadership on strategy, status and direction. This position will be responsible for overseeing the on-time delivery and on-schedule performance of Trident production efforts supporting the ISF and US Navy programs. This position will work closely with the Sub-IPTs, Operations, Integrated Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, business Leadership and Program Management teams. This position will apply disciplined program management processes and tools to establish and monitor metrics and trends to ensure excellence in execution. Positions is responsible for the following areas;
*Responsible for managing all aspects of product area execution, financial management, and customer interface and support business growth in product area. Coordinates the efforts of other functions to support the mission area and program business strategy for this product segment through evaluation of customer needs and environmental trends.
*Provides leadership in development and execution of the Product and Mission Area: 5 year financial plans, AOP, Assigned investment resources, IPDS Gates.
*Leads IPTLs including oversight for functions. Provides leadership to IPTLs to ensure that contract deliverables are met, customer satisfaction is strong, and other costs are minimized.
*Employs appropriate Program Management Best Practices and tools. Represents Program at Program Management Reviews and Program Performance Reviews.
*Coaches, mentors, and provides performance feedback to direct and indirect reports.
*Represents the company to the customer, provides program status to customers, gathers "voice of the customer" information and customer assessment data to share with the team for use in solution development.
*Builds and maintains relationships and networks with other companies and with other RTN businesses as required

Basic Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in production and engineering support environment and/or business experience
  • Experience with current manufacturing systems and processes
  • Experience in the production of complex systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience implementing EVMS and Risk & Opportunity Management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IPDS
  • Experience in program planning, budgeting, and tracking to cost and schedule
  • Experience in leading a team including members from engineering, operations, integrated supply chain, and/or quality
  • Active Secret Clearance (DoD)
  • PMX Certification
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems

Desired Qualifications:
  • Program Management experience
  • Master of Science or MBA from an accredited university or similar advanced degree desired
  • CCA and complex component build experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead R6s projects
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements
  • Experience managing through organizational change and rapid growth
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by influence and collaboration
  • Demonstrated technical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MRP systems and PRISM
  • Understanding of Production Enterprise systems i.e Phaso eWAR, RCAS, Purge, ALCS, Wavetrak, VBS, VM, PDM, ARR, SAP

Required Education:
*Bachelor’s degree in STEM related discipline

Desired Education:
*Master’s degree in STEM related discipline or Master’s in Business Administration
