Targeting Officer, Lead

Key Role:
Provide the client with Headquarters-based support for the planning and implementation of traditional foreign intelligence collection, counterintelligence (CI), non-traditional operations, and technical operations using technology. Combine specialized technical training, advanced analytic expertise, in-depth experience with client operational tradecraft and targeting tools, and open source research expertise to identify new opportunities for operational activity and enhance ongoing operations. Be investigative and action-oriented when supporting client objectives. Apply knowledge of operations, including operational and technical tradecraft and intelligence priorities when providing strategic guidance to operations. Conduct all aspects of the position while keeping CI and operational security at the forefront and be both a team player and capable of working independently under minimal daily direction. Use sound judgment and multi-task while managing competing priorities.
   

Basic Qualifications:
-Knowledge of the CI concepts, principles, and practices necessary to support a wide range of operations and conduct open source research effectively
-Knowledge of technical targeting tools, including client and commercially available tools and how to use technology to solve complex operational problems in an organized and time efficient manner
-Ability to develop creative yet practical solutions to anticipated and unanticipated problems
-Ability to deal with US government officers at all levels of responsibility, authority, and rank professionally, confidently, and effectively
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-BA or BS degree and 10+ years of experience with working in the intelligence community (IC)
 

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with living or working abroad
-Knowledge of a foreign language at the functional level
-Ability to show agility, innovation, flexibility, adaptability, and commitment to the client’s mission
-Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
 

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
