TAC Watch Analyst

Jacobs is seeking a Watch Analyst / Intelligence Analyst to support a customer in Reston, VA. Duties and responsibilities
may include:
  • Actively monitor TAC and its subordinate systems to ensure continuity and availability of data.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting and coordinate response efforts with Tier-2 system engineers.
  • Provide technical assistance to users experiencing trouble accessing and using the system.
  • Troubleshoot PKI problems utilizing authentication services.
  • Receive, respond to, and properly document user requests in a timely manner.
  • Provide support both over-the-phone and through email in the construction of queries and analytic grid frameworks to
  • persistently monitor the essential elements of interest to DIA’s analytic cadre.
  • Provide content administration and query quality control of the analytic query database.
  • Assist with the development of team SOPs and SharePoint site.
  • Collect and report individual and group metrics.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Typically requires an Associate degree in a computer field and eight (8) years of related experience. Progressive and relevant education, training and/or certification(s) may be substituted for a portion of the degree and experience requirements
  • Active TS/SCI, must be willing to undergo a polygraph
  • Ability to work a shift at the discretion of the scheduler, that supports 24/7 operations, to include weekends and holidays as randomly assigned. No exceptions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work multiple levels and input systems simultaneously and expeditiously.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI w/polygraph
  • Prior experience with TAC (user or admin) and the Intelligence Community.
  • Experience supporting and maintaining IT systems remotely.
  • Prior All Source, GEOINT, SIGINT or HUMINT analyst.
  • Experience with database search authoring (Python, PSL, etc.)
  • Experience supporting and maintaining I.T. systems or monitoring equipment status remotely.
Physical Requirements:
  • Most work will be done at a desk or computer.
Work Environment:
  • General Office environment.
  • The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as with other subcontractors and the prime contractor and customers.
Equipment and Machines:
  • General office equipment including PC/laptop, Copiers, Shredder, Printers, Telephone, and other miscellaneous office equipment.
  • Attendance is critical at all times.
  • Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, shift work, to include nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Times and days may vary depending on business requirements.
  • Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively and to interface with individuals at all levels both verbally and in writing.
  • Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.

  • Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must work well under pressure to meet deadline requirements.
  • Must take and pass a drug test and background check as well as a motor vehicle records check. Must be a US citizen
  • Must hold an active TS/SCI with a polygraph level clearance.
