Systems Security Administrator (Remote)

Description

Systems Security Administrator responsible for implementation, deployment and maintenance
of CyberArk Privileged Account Security (PAS) solutions for Identity Management and Directory
Services technologies at GSA. This position is also responsible for supporting technologies
within the DHS Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Privileged Accounts Management.

Technology areas include:

● Privileged access management systems such as CyberArk and Password Manager Pro
(PMP)

● Active Directory including but not limited to MS Active Directory, NetIQ DRA and GPA

● Identity Management services operations including but not limited to ADFS, FIM
(MIM),SailPoint IdentityIQ and SecureAuth

● Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) infrastructure and controls to supporting access and
management services for users as well as privileged access accounts such as service
accounts and administrators.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

● Solution engineering including requirements validation and planning as well as
architecture and design

● Solution upgrades including installation, configuration, hardening and integration

● Routine operations and maintenance including password rotation, account creation,
account changes, accounts integrations, maintaining/creating new safes, and CyberArk
policies.

● Managing EPV (Enterprise Password Vault) with respect to information/systems security
and identity/access management

● Monitoring performance, errors, and warnings within the CyberArk environments

● Troubleshooting problems locally and engage the vendor for escalation support,
proposing short term fixes, and long-term solutions

● Following and maintaining in-house documentation for repeatable processes, including
the implementation of new CyberArk custom connectors, patching and upgrading
CyberArk components, disaster recovery, as well as change management processes.

● Creating and providing training for peer administrators and application user groups.

● Use ServiceNow ticket queue management for work scheduling and monitoring, ticket
fulfillment, correspondence and reporting

● Design and produce reports covering systems and process performance metrics - both
ad hoc and routine

● Identify process improvement opportunities for review and subsequent implementation, After hours and on-call rotation support as needed

● Other operational support duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

● 1+ years strong working knowledge of CyberArk PAS CyberArk core architecture, vault
management, password management, and policy management

● 5+ years IT experience; 5+ years’ experience management administration supporting
large-scale network operations areas

● Experience in requirements gathering & analysis, solution design, development task
management, quality assurance and release methodologies

● Demonstrated experience providing tier 2 or higher support for enterprise services

● Experience providing positive customer service interactions for all levels of the
organization up to and include senior executive staff.

● Experience with performing root cause analysis, risk identification, and risk mitigation

● Experience supporting customers in secure environments.

● Experience supporting government customers having a multi-site, distributed enterprise
network architecture.

● Available to support on-call rotation on routine basis

● Able to effectively perform duties and collaborate in a remote telework environment.

● Strong time management and organization skills

● Good interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate effectively, self-awareness,
and above average written and oral communications.

Desired

● Candidate must be able to obtain a US “Public Trust” clearance

● Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ integration and operations.

● Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related
discipline

● Familiarity with the design and implementation of IT service management best practices
such as change, problem, incident, configuration and service level management is
strongly preferred.

● ITIL Foundations certification

● Certifications: Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) or Microsoft Certified
