Systems Integrator Technical Specialist

Responsibilities:

The individual selected for this position will support the Sponsor's Office of Acquisition Management who is responsible for supporting and honing DDI's acquisitions.  The OAM Office seeks a responsive, resourceful, and efficient individual to provide facilitation and use case compilation for acquisition requirements from program teams.  Specifically, we are looking for someone with Systems Engineering, strong communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.

The systems integrator is responsible for assisting the office in gathering, decomposing, deciphering, documenting, interviewing, etc. requirements, CONOPS, SOW development in support of program and contract strategies. The integrator will also be responsible for responsible for establishing templates for use cases and requirements based on research of currently internal used templates, industry standards, other gov’t created templates or hand-crafted for the possible unique situation for a sustainable, long-term methodology that will ensure use cases become a pre-acquisition activity. Additionally, the position will be responsible for consistent and timely communication with multiple locations and many levels of stakeholders. The systems integrator will work with an OAM Program Manager in concert with the acquisition teams.

General Expectations of a Systems Integrator: Responsible for translating the client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains enterprise-wide solutions to total system or subsystems using internally created and/or off the shelf products. Analyzes and identifies all or part of a company's existing or new peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Provides direction for design activities.

Qualifications:

TS/SCI with Poly clearance required

Demonstrated experience performing facilitation with groups to ensure capturing work processes and workflows.

Exceptional communication and familiarity with Sponsor’s environment at both project level and executive audiences.

Broad understanding of Sponsor’s acquisition activities and protocols.

Self-starter and team player.

Solid project management skills (e.g. planning, tracking, and reporting)

Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA (or minimum of 15 years related work experience) or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD, plus 5 years supporting Sponsor.
