Responsible for translating the client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains enterprise-wide solutions to total system or subsystems using internally created and/or off the shelf products. Analyzes and identifies all or part of a company's existing or new peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Provides direction for design activities. Often project-based, sometimes working at customer sites.

Work Description: Systems Integrator/Project Manager supports the Customer’s complex, network integration projects—primarily the Network Visualization Program, along with other security-related, Branch-level projects. Customer is responsible for overall specific IT projects and ensuring that technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner. The SI performs enterprise-wide horizontal integration planning and interfaces to other functional systems; plans and supervises multiple projects and/or task orders. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Serves as contract program/project manager support Group management as well as external Mission Partners across multiple Agencies/Organizations
  • Collaborates closely with Government Lead
  • Utilizes understanding of Customer’s Project Management Framework (PMF) and Group’s enterprise change control process
  • Assists in creation, baseline, and maintenance of all project documentation
  • Ensures technical solutions and schedules in task orders are implemented in a timely manner
  • Tracks program-level requirements and prioritization
  • Creates internal and external documents and briefings
  • Facilitates coordination between program stakeholders
  • Procures new software and tracks software renewals within Customer database
  • Tracks and updates Team metrics (O&M, projects, and other tasking-related hours)
  • Tracks Team action items from Senior Management
  • Provides Maximo request tracking and Customer communication for requirement clarification and status updates

Requires 12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with MS/MA or 7 to 9 years with Ph.D.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with Poly clearance required
  • Extensive experience managing application and/or network IT projects
  • Demonstrated, working knowledge of PMF and related documentation—including Project Charter, Project Management Plan, System Requirements Document, Project Schedules, BOMs, ROMs, Engineering Change Notifications, and MOAs/MOUs
  • IT background with LAN/WAN architecture experience
  • MS Project expertise
  • Experience with the following: principles of project management; creating schedules; cost estimation; implementation plan design
  • Demonstrated briefing skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • SharePoint experience
  • Experience with Jira, ESMT, and/or other databases/tools used to track development efforts

  • PMP and/or ITIL certifications
