Systems Integrator Senior Technical Specialist


Standard Description

Responsible for translating the client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains enterprise-wide solutions to total system or subsystems using internally created and/or off the shelf products. Analyzes and identifies all or part of a company's existing or new peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Provides direction for design activities. Often project-based, sometimes working at customer sites.


The candidate will provide strategy planning and strategic communications for the client Program Manager of a high-profile office initiative. The candidate will be expected to provide strategic and executive guidance to the client Program Manager.

Responsibilities include:

Prepare programmatic documentation and artifacts such as a program strategy, program management plan (PMP), and integrated master schedule (IMS);

Assist in the execution of program strategy, program plan, and master schedule;

Develop and execute a communications plan and continuously improve the plan as the program evolves;

Assist in preparing consistent, concise messaging to client stakeholders that aligns with the program strategic goals;

Serve as the program communications focal point for internal and external communications;

Assist the client Program Manager with execution of their business rhythm, such as weekly staff meetings or front office briefs;

Assist with the execution of client stakeholder interface processes, such as a requirements management process.


Requires 12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with MS/MA or 7 to 9 years with Ph.D.


10+ years of programmatic or systems integration experience

Demonstrated expertise with development and implementation of strategic plans and communications plans

Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

Demonstrated experience with various communications tools

Motivated self-starter who excels in dynamic, high-visibility environment

Strong written and verbal communications skills

Requires Bachelor’s degree, or additional 3 years of relevant experience

TS/SCI with Poly.
