Systems Engineering Manager 3

The team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Systems Engineering Manager 3, Ground Segment Systems Engineering Lead based out of Redondo Beach, CA.

What you'll get to do:


The Ground Segment (GS) Systems Engineering Lead is Deputy to the SEIT (Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test) manager and manages GS system engineers, SOC SWSEs, and RTE HWSEs. The GS SE Lead has extensive experience with SE processes and leads the GS through major GS reviews (PDR, CDR, Ground Sell-off). The GS SE Lead manages the GS requirements and verification team and coordinates requirement, interface, and verification definition with Program SE. The GS SE Lead will develop and champion an Agile management process for the GS team.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
    10 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree. Experience managing systems engineering teams. Experience with program reviews (e.g. PDR, CDR, and sell-off) Proficient with systems engineering processes Active DOD Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access.

Preferred Qualifications:
    Active SCI and/or SAP clearance. Proficient with requirements and verification processes Experience with software systems Experience with Agile Systems Engineering and Agile DevOps Experience as a cost account manager utilizing the earned value management system Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering Familiarity with ground systems (Ground Software, Operation Centers, and Ground Terminals)
