Systems Engineer - TS/SCI with Poly

CACI has a new opportunity for a Senior System Engineer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. The ideal candidate will have a current TS/SCI with poly.

More About the Role:

You will use your current TS/SCI with Poly to support government personnel in Threat and Information gathering, collating, and providing input to reports, presentations and bulletins for publication and release to the Intelligence Community and DoD. You will interact with the government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated threats and risks. You will ultimately be responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the risks and threats to Systems Engineering and ongoing programs. You will communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.



The responsibilities include formulating requirements, advising alternative approaches, and conducting queries and feasibility studies.  You will also develop and provide input to threat and technical documentation. While also interacting with the Government regarding technical threat and risk considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.

 

What You'll Do:


o    Analysis of current and available information as input to developing documentation and performing
technical/non-technical assessments.

o    Develop draft alternative courses of action, workarounds, and fall-back positions with a recommended course of action for each risk, and monitor and re-evaluate risks at appropriate milestones.

o    Maintain knowledge of current and evolving agency, national, and international standards applicable to the documentation development of interest. Apply and enforce use of suitable standards to ensure consistency.

o    Ensure effective, periodic review and control of the evolving of associated documentation.

o    As a participant within an Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) effort, recommend a preferred solution based on selection criteria adjusted for reasonableness and validity of assumptions, technology limitations, environmental impact, and life-cycle costs.

o    TS/SCI with Poly required

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Twenty (20) years’ experience as a System Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional System Engineering
experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
