As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to design and analyze complex Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems to support the Navy’s mission across the world. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize Navy shore and ship networks, systems, and applications. You’ll develop your skills in systems engineering while gaining experience in Cybersecurity and network engineering as well as program management. You Have:

-5+ years of experience with managing and conducting system engineering processes and technical reviews and generating and evaluating system requirements

-5+ years of experience with systems engineering, including engineering management plan development, verification of requirements, and architectural design implementation

-5+ years of experience with systems performance evaluation, system specifications, technical constraints, environmental constraints, analysis of alternatives, risk management, conflict or deficiency identification, and mitigation strategies

-2+ years of experience with an integrated product or project team or engineering project management

-Experience with using drafting software packages, including Visio for the development of logical or system diagrams 

-Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-5+ years of experience with DoDAF or Navy architecture, strategic planning, concept of operations, performance attributes, system architecture and design, evolving methodologies, and statutory and regulatory requirements 

-5+ years of experience with an integrated product or project team or engineering project management

-Experience with long-haul communications solutions, including SONET technologies 

-Experience with optical communications architectures, design, and equipment or components

-Experience with Navy system development or an acquisition organization

-Experience with applying Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools, including MagicDraw

-Knowledge of Navy shore installation processes and procedures, including the Fleet Readiness Certification Board (FRCB) and Base Electronic System Engineering Plan (BESEP)

-Knowledge of power distribution systems 

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills for working and leading in a diverse team environment

-BA or BS degree in EE, Systems Engineering, ME, Physics or related field preferred; MA or MS degree a plus

-INCOSE Systems Engineering Certifications, including CSEP, ASEP, or ESEP

-Security+ CE or IAT Level II Certification


Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
