The Bedrock team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Mission Engineer based out of Redondo Beach, CA.
What You'll get to Do:
We are looking for a systems engineer to support development of internal and external interfaces for a restricted program. Applicant will be working to define and interfaces for new systems from the ground up. This includes the engineering work to define points of contact, information exchanged, schema to define that exchange, and the process of getting the interfaces baselined. Applicant must be comfortable working with various stakeholders, both internal and external.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • 2 years of System Engineering experience with a Bachelors of Science in a STEM discipline; 0 years of System Engineering experience with Masters
  • Active DoD Top Secret with an SSBI within the last 6 years
  • Understanding of systems engineering principles and processes
  • Proficiency in MS Office
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Active SCI
  • Experience working on military aircraft / spacecraft systems
  • Experience in developing, managing, and decomposing requirements
  • Experience in system architecture, CONOPs, or model based system engineering
  • Experience in subsystem, payload, or system integration
  • Experience using DOORS, MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering)
  • Strong People and Technical Leadership Skills
  • Excellent communication Skills (upward and downward)
