Systems Engineer (PIER Transition and Decommission), Level 5

Overview

The Systems Engineer Level 5 will provide systems engineering support to the customer’s Physical Infrastructure Evaluation and Review (PIER) organization, supporting Transition & Decommission activities, working in teams led by Government Leads. The SE will interface with stakeholders, perform gap engineering, produce end-state diagrams and schedules, and support system decommissioning. 

Qualifications

Active Top Secret Clearance with a polygraph is required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university with
    • Note: A Master’s degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 19 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable
  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience
  • Have at least 4 years of Transition and Decommission experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and diplomacy
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:

  • INCOSE certification
