Systems Administrator - TS/SCI with Polygraph

Job Description
  • Provides information system solution and technical support in one or more functional areas including personal computers, end user devices, VoIP phones, VTC systems in a secure environment.  Will respond to incident tickets, moves and new installations.
  • Develops schedules and assigns work within work center to meet critical customer deadlines
  • Ensures that user tickets are updated in a timely manner and that property records are updated correctly.
  • May perform complex IT tasks
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
  • May assist with logistics functions such as monitoring stock of equipment.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
Education

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Qualifications

2+ years of directly related experience in network administration and support.

Valid driver's license

Ability to lift 40 pounds

 

Must possess an appropriate and current DoD Information Assurance (IA) certification to be considered for employment;   valid CompTIA Security+ CE, other similiar or higher certifications will be considered if they meet DoD 8570 requirements.   In addition, candidate must attain the required DoD 8570 Computing Environment (CE)  training within 6 months of hire date.

 

Due to the sensative nature of the work performed for this government customer, candidates must have a TS/SCI and are subject to polygraph once hired.

 

As part of your role/function on the program, you will be granted privileged user access.  Privileged users are subject to greater scrutiny as a direct result of the significant responsibilities placed upon them.  Please be aware that because of these critical duties, you will be subject to additional IT system monitoring, and supervisory evaluation to ensure continuous adherence to Privileged User processes and procedures.  Privileged Users are subject to a zero tolerance policy for security violations.
