Systems Administrator, Senior

Key Role:
Maintain responsibility for Windows servers, operating systems software, and its successful integration into the hardware and applications software of major computing systems across the organization. Conduct installation and maintenance of Windows-based operating configurations on all organization Windows and NT servers and desktops. Troubleshoot problems that may involve applications and the network. Provide technical support to applications and utility developers on requirements for integration into the operating environment. Serve as the technical reference on engineering review boards while considering all additions to or changes to the operating environment, including all changes or additions to the standard configuration within the organization. 

Basic Qualifications:
-8 years of experience as a systems administrator in Linux and UNIX environments
-Experience with operating systems and the organization's operating environment and network requirements
-Experience with using project management techniques to plan and execute projects
-Experience with researching the latest technological developments in the operating systems to identify impact on organization operating systems and anticipate changes
-Experience in working with system developers to elicit requirements and engage in joint project planning
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required
-HS diploma or GED required

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with IBM Lotus Administration, including Notes and Domino 7 or 8 preferred
-Experience with Agile development methodologies
-Experience with project management framework
-Possession of excellent team leadership, development, and client relationship skills
-BA or BS degree preferred
