Summary:

The SystemsAdministrator IV will provide technical oversight and hands on support ofhardware and software systems.

Duties andResponsibilities:

  • Implementand maintain system security and data recovery processes.
  • Providetechnical support.
  • Utilizeautomation delivering applications, managing assets, monitoring performance,event notifications and automating workstation support.
  • Troubleshootand maintenance of networked computer systems.
  • Responsiblefor configurations of desktop and server computers, troubleshoots software andhardware problems as well as network related issues.
  • Installsoftware, upgrades, evaluate install patches, and resolve software relatedproblems.
  • ProvideWindows Server administration
  • Interactwith local and program management to answer questions, problems, and requestsregarding system issues.
  • Createand update related server/application documentation (e.g. Trusted RecoveryDocumentation (TRD), Method of Procedures (MOP), user guides and other relatedtraining material)
  • Workwith other IT personnel for coordination and communication of other activities.
  • Supportthe proper configuration, operations
  • Otherduties as assigned

MinimumQualifications: (Toperform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor’sDegree and 6+ years of relevant experience in related field required
    • Combinedtotal of 12 years for education and experience may be used in lieu of degree
  • PossessBaseline and Full Computing Environment Certifications for IAT II IAW DoD8570.01-M and BBP 05-PR-M-0002.
  • Top Secret clearance with T3investigation.

Knowledge, Skillsand Abilities:

  • Abilityto work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Strongcommunications skills (both written and oral), strong customer service andexcellent interpersonal skills, ability to listen and understand what is beingdescribed by the end user as well as the ability to explain problem resolutionswhen necessary.
  • Abilityto work independently without direct supervision or guidance
  • Abilityto occasionally work after hours and/or on-call support.

  • The employee will normally work ina temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure toelectronic office equipment.
  • During visits to areas ofoperations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborneparticles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
