Job Description:

Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Level 2 Systems Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Edwards, Ca.

The selected candidate will maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • 3 plus years with Bachelors; 1 plus year with Masters. Applied experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays and weekends.
  • Must maintain a valid U.S. passport. Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.
  • Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and retain Special Program access clearance within 365 days from submission.
  • Must meet medical requirements for worldwide travel. Must be willing to accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 120 days away from primary work location and comply with mobility requirements.
  • Must attain and maintain certifications required for the role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the following:
  • RHEL 7 Operating Systems and Principles
  • All Windows Server and Desktop versions.
  • Active Directory, DNS, SQL
  • Group policy design, testing and implementation
  • NetApp Storage
  • HPE 3PAR and Simplivity
  • VMware vSphere, ESXi and vCenter
  • Ansible Playbooks and Automation
  • PowerShell Scripting
