You Have:

-7+ years of experience as a system engineer

-Experience with contributing to or developing system designs and architectures

-Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF)

-Experience with developing detailed system-level architectures and graphical views and writing technical descriptions
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with software interfaces and data formats, including REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML

-Experience with designing service-oriented architectures or microservices architectures

-Experience with contributing to or executing trade studies or analysis of alternatives

-Ability to brief technical topics to non-technical staff

-Ability to gather requirements from project teams and determine priorities

-Ability to manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architectures

-Ability to generate alternative system concepts, physical architectures, and design solutions and define methods, processes, and evaluation criteria by which the systems, subsystems, and work products are verified against their requirements in a written plan

-Ability to derive lower-level requirements from higher-level allocated requirements that describe in detail the functions that a system component must fulfill, ensure these requirements are complete, correct, unique, unambiguous, realizable, and verifiable, and generate alternative system concepts, physical architectures, and design solutions

-BA or BS degree in Information Systems, CS, or a related technical field

 Preferred; MA or MS degree a plus
