Key Role:
Provide comprehensive assessments of logistics supply chain systems to determine scope of user needs based on knowledge of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Support enterprise IT planning processes by delivering a multi-year roadmap for updating and modernizing capabilities, standard packages, software, and hardware. Deliver the transition plan to future state and recommendations for collapsing and retiring legacy applications. Analyze procedures to solve complex problems while considering computer equipment capability and limitations, operating time, and form of preferred results, including the analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with systems analysis
-Experience with technology platforms and information technology cradle to grave processes related to applications and infrastructure
-Ability to determine, analyze, and assess full spectrum system capabilities and formulate and define systems scope and objective based on both user needs and comprehension of applicable business systems and industry requirements
-Ability to work at the highest level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree or 5 years of experience with IT in lieu of a degree
