System Engineer/Program Manager Role TS/SCI with Poly

Job Description

CACI has an exciting opportunity in the Annapolis Junction, MD area for the right person to join our team as a Technical Project Manager (PM). The PM will support the DoD customer deliver system capabilities by taking new requirements through the system development life-cycle. This includes taking the solution thru the security accreditation process leveraging the NIST 800-53 Risk Management Framework (RMF) as well as coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. The PM will develop schedule(s), track completion, and manage the process for the customer. The PM will ensure compliance with the system development life cycle (planning, requirements definition, design, development, integration, test, disposition, implementation, operations & maintenance). The PM will serve as a Government trusted advisor providing program management support and will be responsible for:

  • The management, scheduling and coordination of project system activities.
  • Supporting in the development of project ROMs, including solution development.
  • Working cooperatively with engineering leads to plan and direct tasks based on priority and manpower availability;
  • Communicating effectively with a wide variety of technical, non-technical, and mid-senior level audiences.
  • Facilitate the identification, documentation, deployment, and management of system data flows with other external systems.
  • Document data flows and staff associated agreements such as Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs) and Interconnection Security Agreements (ISAs) .

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Current TS/SCI with active polygraph.
  • Fifteen – twenty years of engineering/program management experience.
  • Experience with project scheduling tools (i.e., MS Project.)
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management processes

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with bringing Information Technology projects through the system development life-cycle to include accreditation.
  • Experience in System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Contracting
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience with Cyber Systems / Technology

  • Experience with managing systems through the IT Systems Accreditation / NIST 800-53 Risk Management Framework (RMF)
