Analyzes complex software and hardware systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting operating systems, designing applications and selecting hardware and telephony methods and devices. Resolves difficult inter-operability problems to obtain operation across all platforms. Configures systems to user environments. Supports acquisition of hardware and software, as well as subcontractor services. Serves as manager or industry recognized expert. Are you up for the challenge Position Description: Analyzes users requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations. Develops technical documentation. Develops system Architecture and system design documentation. Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

The ideal candidate for the ALPHAPATRIOT System Engineer position will fit the following:

•               FORNSAT and tactical processing systems experience:  installation/deployment, configuration, dataflow, training, operations and lifecycle support for GOTS/COTS applications and sub-systems

•               RF experience, antenna to switch/RF Distribution and/or Demodulation a plus

•               Possess the communication skills to perform engineering analysis to recommend improvements in existing communication systems

•               Outstanding written communication skills and the ability to clearly present information

Education: Bachelors degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree. Must be willing to travel OCONUS for short-term deployments Security Requirements: U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI w/ poly clearance.
