System Analyst - Military Health Systems TMIP-J (NoVa, Tidewater, Charleston)

GDIT has openings for Systems Analysts for the support and maintenance of the Joint Theatre Medical Information Program (TMIP-J) and the JOMIS (JATS & DHRES) Program Office.  Candidates will provide both functional and technical expertise supporting a wide range of Information Management and Information Technology (IM/IT) systems ranging from the TMIP-J Framework, TC2, AHLTA-T, DMLSS/DCAM and TMDS to more service specific applications such as TMIP-M, TMIP-AF, MMM, SMART, MEDX and NMO.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide system’s analysis for one or more of the core DoD Electronic Health Record systems to include CHCS/TC2, AHLTA/AHLTA-T
  • Implement DoD Electronic Health Record and supporting systems and requirements to include the Maritime Medical Module (MMM), Theater Medical Data Store (TMDS), Medweb PACS, DCAM and DMLSS Maritime
  • Provide verification and validation of the TMIP and JOMIS suite of applications developed and/or maintained for each specific service branch to include Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force to ensure the delivered product fulfills its intended use, in its intended environment.
  • Assist with the analysis and resolution of trouble calls using the REMEDY automated customer service tool.
  • Assist with the preparation of documentation to include, system design, end user training and systems administration.

Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience providing functional and/or technical support of DoD electronic Health Record and web based applications
  • Expert knowledge of all elements of System Development Lifecycle including system definition, development, Design, analysis & control, integration and testing
  • Expertise in both the protection of privacy related information, and the data flow management inherent within integrated health systems
  • Proven understanding of TMIP-J family of systems
  • System, Test and Network Engineers must have a minimum IAT Level II with Sec+
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Active DoD Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ideally these individuals should have a deep understanding of military operational medicine to include delivery of health services in a variety of deployed environments to include field and combat support hospitals, amphibious assault and hospital ships, and air evacuation platforms.
  • Certification in Agile or Six Sigma
  • Experience with Cerner or similar commercial suite of clinical applications
