System Administrator (Secret Clearance required)


SAIC is currently seeking a system administrator at our Andover, MA office. The position will be responsible for working with the initial development and deployment of a Secret Internet Protocol Routed Network (SIPRNet) Node supporting a Logistics based application.
Primary responsibilities include but not limit to:

  • Install and support Windows Server and Workstation products in a classified environment.
  • Perform System SCAP Scans, System patching, Application Updates and configurations in support of overall System’s Security posture.
  • Working knowledge and experience with deploying Servers and Workstations on the SIPRNET.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10, Server 2008, 2012, and 2016) and Active Directory environments.
  • Working knowledge and experience with system vulnerability and benchmark analysis scanning tools.
  • Working knowledge of Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to include performing scans, generating reports, and modifying system configurations to improve scan scores or document and explain mitigation where required.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Related Field & 5+ years of work related experience or 9 years of work related experience required in lieu of degree. 
  • Must have a Current/Active Secret clearance
  • Experience with Windows Active Directory (AD) and the configuration and deployment of Group Policy Objects (GPOs) in a production environment.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining Domain Name Services (DNS) in a classified environment.
  • Experience with VMware, operating in a classified environment.
  • Knowledge of Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

  • Knowledge of CompTIA Security+ and able to obtain Certification within 6 months
