Perspecta has an immediate need for a System Administrator.


System Administrator


Candidate will maintain and service critical platforms at a customer site in Aurora CO.


Candidate will maintain and service critical on-site software, storage and network platforms for a national security customer in Aurora CO. Candidate will be familiar with Delivery services, including customized services, to complex enterprise customer accounts, DOD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG's) and Information Assurance Venerability Alerts and Bulletins (IAVA/IAVB) along with general system administration duties. Returns non-functional equipment to mission by providing software and firmware technical troubleshooting to restore systems to operational capability. Candidate will provide more complex support for IT solutions software service request/incident processing for end user issues that are not resolved at initial response support level according to established procedures.Candidate will be able to execute instructions provided by remote support organizations. This support includes the detailed tracking of incident/service request from receipt through closure using a COTS Ticket Tracking System. Monitors and responds to software problems utilizing a variety of software testing tools and techniques, including WSEA, Network Node Manager (NNM), Operations Manager I(OMI) and the ability to examine system crashes. Must be self-motivated and have a capacity to determine the correct course of action on their own; as well as work through issues with minimal help from others. Candidate participates in special projects as required. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS). Understanding of Virtual Machine (VM) technologies and methods (VMWare). Understanding of RAID, data backup uses and technologies.'Clearance TS/SCI with Poly'


Qualifications


Requires:


·        "Clearance Required TS/SCI with Poly" and the ability to maintain the same.


·Current DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification.


·Minimum 3 years’ experience.


·Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science related field Experience will be considered in lieu of degree.


·Must be able to lift and carry 10 pounds


·Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.


·Good communication skills; shows tact; effective listening skills and follow through.


·Detail oriented and organized; able to understand information systems and ensure accuracy of work.


·Basic knowledge of change management process


Preference will be given to Candidates with:


·Familiar with networking and all supported operating system platforms (i.e. Red Hat, OpenVMS, Windows, VMWare vSphere, etc.)


·Experience with support of full range of HPE products in complex customer base, especially Storage appliances.


·Windows Server / Workstation certification. 'Clearance TS/SCI with Poly'
