Supply Chain Planning Spec 3

Reporting to the Global Supply Chain Manager for the Maritime Systems Operating Unit, the Supply Chain Planning Analyst (SCPA) will have the responsibility to ensure the Supply Chain Program requirements identified during a proposal or execution phases of their assigned Program(s) are being fulfilled and addressed. This individual will provide comprehensive management and overall Program support to ensure successful completion of tasks/events. This individual is expected to establish themselves as the point of contact for all GSC activities throughout the development (EDM), LRIP and production phases of the Program. This position is expected to foster a culture of ownership, expected performance, accountability, trust while fostering an inclusive work environment that embraces all Supply Chain's best practices in support of Program and company goals and objectives.

Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and negotiates terms and conditions differences for the procurement of materials, equipment, and/or services.

Participates with Contracts Administration to develop a subcontract plan including Small Business plans and leads the collaboration of special/unique program contractual flow down requirements to the supply base.

Preparation of Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and Memorandums of Agreement, preparation and management of internal step reviews of new opportunities and formal customer proposal preparation.

As the Cost Account Manager (CAM) for a Program, this candidate will utilize Proposal information to establish material cost targets and sourcing opportunities.

Establishes and monitors key Supply Chain performance indicators.

Risk Management to include developing solutions to a variety of problems of multifaceted scope and complexity and manage the mitigation plans in support of Return to Green status.

Defines and develops material strategy.Analyzes and aggregates supply / demand requirements.

Analyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools.

Analyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurements.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors' degree and minimum6+ years of experience in a Supply Chain and/or a directly related field (engineering/contracts/project management/business management).

Proficiency in MS Office suite (emphasis on Excel)

Excellent communication skills and team building qualities are key to the success in this position.

Experience with monitoring suppliers and managing predictable outcomes. Being able to build a two way trusting relationship based on results, ownership, credibility and responsiveness.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience and a technical aptitude for large electro-mechanical hardware and/or working on complex integrated high-tech systems within a Department of Defense regulated environment.

Demonstrated working knowledge of the role and responsibilities and contributions of Global Supply Chain to the operational success of the organization, Program and local campus.

Experience in Program Cost Account Management, focused on program material financial controls, reporting (Budgeting and ETC/EAC) and familiar with concepts of Earned Value Management.

Working knowledge of Federal and Defense contracting requirements including FAR and DFARS.

Working understanding of Program Risk and Opportunity Management

Hands-on working knowledge within an environment utilizing an ERP/MRP System (emphasis within a SAP working environment) and an clear understanding of its concepts and strategies.
