Supply Chain Operations Coordinator 4

Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems is currently seeking a Supply Chain Operations Coordinator to join our team in Rocket Center, WV, just outside of Cumberland, MD. The Allegany Ballistics Laboratory (ABL) site in Rocket Center designs, develops and manufactures tactical rocket motors, medium caliber ammunition, composite components and end items, and fuze and electronics equipment. For decades, the dedicated and highly skilled team at ABL has supported national security efforts by developing and building defense systems for DoD customers and U.S. allies.

Job Summary:

Segregate discrepant material in defined locations following company standards.
Coordinate between departments for release of acceptable material.
Lead cycle counts, process adjustments based on physical counts and maintain documentation.
Coordinate physical inventory audits.
Process vendor returns.
Assist with maintaining organization in the warehouses.
Perform receiving duties such as: auditing, preparing, and verifying paperwork.
Work closely with receiving inspection to ensure items are received accurately.
Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
May be cross-trained and perform in other areas of Supply Chain.
Ensure company receiving practices, procedures, and requirements are followed.
Assist with and provide input to the development and implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
Demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent follow-up.
May operate passenger vehicles to transport materials on company property.

High School Diploma or GED.

6 years of related receiving, stock room or warehouse operations experience.

U.S. Citizenship; must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance

Experience in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Excellent attendance record.

Ability to work flexible hours to meet overtime requirements.

Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Able to lift 50 pounds.

Ideal candidates will work to Ensure Accountability, Build Networks, Drive Results and must be Adaptable.

Preferred Qualifications:

College degree

Receiving/stock room/warehouse operations experience preferred.

Rocket Center, WV is located along the North Branch Potomac River in Mineral County, West Virginia and is home to the Allegany Ballistics Laboratory (ABL), a government installation operated by Northrop Grumman. This position falls under a Federal Explosives License issued by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) for this location. Candidates hired into this role will be required to complete and submit an Employee Possessor Questionnaire to ATF for approval to be a possessor.
