Supply Chain Associate

Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) is looking for an entry-level Supply Chain Associate to support the Largo CMC Logistics Operation using multiple parallel software applications to provide support to operation and other internal customers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Reading, interpreting, and executing written / verbal instructions.
  • Using proper material handling process and run rules.
  • Assisting in supporting Largo Logistics with inventorying products and materials.
  • Examining and inspecting containers, materials, and products in order to ensure compliance and preservation of material.
  • Supporting the day to day operation under the guidance and direction of management.
  • Sealing containers or materials, using glues, fasteners, nails, and power tools.
  • Performing Customer Service duties for both BU employees within Logistics and assisting to troubleshoot problems that may occur from operation requests.
  • Keep a clean, organized work environment.
  • Establish and Maintain 6S efforts within Logistics
  • Help identify and follow Logistics processes within respected areas of operation, while identifying GAPs or areas of process improvement
  • Coordinating and monitoring workflow, assisting in prioritizing activities in assigned areas to improve upon service level commitment
  • Following Raytheon SAS Policies and Procedures along with SAS Enterprise Instructions (EI’s) that are applicable to the task being performed

Required Skills:
  • 0-2 years of warehouse, packaging/packing-related work experience
  • Experience in a compliance-driven environment
  • Working knowledge of SAP and RAYTrak
  • Secret Clearance
  • Ability to work additional hours and occasional Saturdays
  • Ability to lift up to 28 lbs.
  • Experience working within a diverse team environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position requires a U.S. Secret Security Clearance upon starting.

Desired Skills:
  • General industry experience and understanding of protocol in a defense company, including work with Government Furnished Material
  • Import/Export Compliance experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, organizational and time management skills
  • Possess a solid reputation for safety, professionalism, and ethical responsibility
  • Handles product safely and carefully
  • Excellent customer service and problem solving skills

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university

Desired Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher
