Subject Matter Expert (Lead)

Job Description

CACI is looking for a highly motivated Subject Matter Expert (Lead) in the MD area. Join CACI in leading your organization in creating training materials, and guiding other professionals on the project to ensure the content is accurate.


What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Develop Fiscal Year (FY) cost models and site bills for the Mission Partner Environment (MPE).
  • Determine the number of non-users, equipment, and leased circuits at each site, as well as the workload factor for each level of MPE services (Blackbone ATM, Blackbone IP, CUE, 4 Eyes, 6 Eyes, Etc.) for Cost Model.
  • Develop cost recovery model for MPE based on number of existing and planned users for the FY for each MPE service and produce multiple models based on MPE planned requirements and fee recovery requirements.
  • Build each FY site bill cost sheet based on unique, Government agreed requirements, and develop a FY site bill summary showing user site requirements, expected FY site revenue, and expected balance, based on projected bills.
  • Assist with new site customer development and installations.
  • Required support specifications include developing and maintaining MPE overview briefings and topology diagrams.
  • Develop architectural design alternatives, equipment lists, and cost alternatives for new customer requirements.
  • Review all MPE user site security accreditation packages and assist MPE with any technical or policy questions related to the network architectures and security accreditation.
  • Issue all Telecommunications Service Requests (TSRs) for circuits/trunks/links required by each MPE classified network.
  • Tracks Telecommunications Service Requests (TSR) and telecommunications Service Orders (TSO), Network provisioning, and leased circuit order delivery.
  • Issue telecommunication services completion reports (In-Effect, Delayed Service, Exception) for all communication services.


More About the Role:

  • Perform periodic reviews of existing MPE communication network requirements to determine validity of requirement and design solution as well as review all leased, MPE and Allied provided communications circuits and provide recommendations for changes to optimize network performance and minimize costs.
  • Develop FY architectural topology and equipment configuration designs for MPE classified networks.
  • Review and recommend new network equipment for use on MPE classified networks.
  • Required to constantly obtain maintain and information on Allied and U.S. non-DISA networks and topologies to determine potential use in satisfying MPE requirements.
  • Assist in the development of future user network designs to support new and emerging MPE requirements.
  • Support the development and maintenance of Internet Protocol (IP) and Voice-over Internet Protocol (VoIP) plans for MPE requirements.
  • Reviews MPE security directives and make recommendations on potential changes.


You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Required Experience:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Network Engineering, Math)
  • Fifteen years direct experience in the last 20 years, or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Network Engineering, Math) and 18 years of general experience of which 15 years is directly related experience.

Certification:

  • DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Level II certification.
  • ITIL Foundations certification required. must be current or able to be obtain within 90 days of start date.
