Strategic Human Capital Specialist, Mid

Key Role:

Serve as part of a project team that works with United States Navy clients to execute strategic and tactical human capital initiatives. Contribute deep expertise in domains to the development of strategic workforce planning and talent management strategies, including partnering with internal expertise to deliver consistent solutions. Perform qualitative and quantitative research, data gathering and analysis, and facilitation of small and large group interactions, including focus groups and interviews to engage stakeholders for the capture, synthesis, and communication of information, including the translation of insights into draft deliverables and products. Contribute expertise in human capital functions to the management of client deliverables, including capturing and analyzing human capital and business processes and formulating solutions tailored to the clients’ needs. Manage projects, including managing and coordinating daily operational aspects, work with team lead to resolve issues and ensure delivery meets production, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives, manage schedules, and develop appropriate reports to document progress of the project. Develop client-ready products, including briefings, reports, and internal communications and leverage industry best practices in human resources, strategy, and change management. Manage relationships with clients and team members from multiple levels of the organization up to senior executives to clarify requests for information and coordinate actions for results. This position is located on the client site in San Diego, CA.

Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with strategic human capital development and implementation
-Experience in leading, planning, and managing complex tasks with daily client interaction
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Access, Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-Ability to lead others towards task and project completion
-Ability to work independently in a team environment
-Ability to interact and network effectively with all levels of staff, including both internal and client-site senior leadership
-Secret clearance required
-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with working in a government or DoD environment
-Experience with direct client service and client relationship management
-Experience with Microsoft Access, VBA Script, or other data analysis expertise
-Ability to analyze and comprehend a business strategy and how it correlates to the development of an organization’s human capital strategy
-Ability to work as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment and multi-task while continuing to be a forward thinker

-Ability to be flexible and adaptable

-Possession of excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
