Storage Ops Admin

Provide system administration of storage operations for various technologies and products, including Data Domain, NetBackup, NetApp, Dell, Brocade DCX, and/or associated technologies. Follow and support guidance regarding integration implementation issues. Support incident and problem resolution. Ensure all solutions meet applicable DoD and industry standards.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with operations support for a storage operations infrastructure
-Knowledge of various storage technologies, including NetApp, and Dell
-Ability to develop and follow procedures for managing operations for a storage infrastructure
-Must have experience with network storage technologies including NAS and SAN architecture.
-Linux/Unix experience a plus.

Support system administration for virtual and physical enterprise servers. Maintain responsibility for operating, maintaining, and sustaining enterprise physical and virtual servers supporting enterprise intelligence mission applications, business systems, and core or shared infrastructure services at designated data centers. Support Microsoft and UNIX-based COTS server environments and other operating systems that will be supported on a case-by-case basis. Use enterprise-level services for system administration when available, including DoDIIS or server baseline, patch management, and over-the-network rekeying or reconfigurations. Maintain enterprise server operating systems, including UNIX, Red Hat Linux, CENTOS, and Solaris.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with UNIX and Linux server systems administration with physical and virtual servers
-Experience with supporting UNIX-based and Microsoft COTS server environments and applications
-Ability to work independently and as a team member to solve difficult technical challenges on a global scale
 
Support system administration for Microsoft-based virtual and physical enterprise servers. Maintain responsibility for operating, maintaining, and sustaining enterprise physical and virtual servers supporting enterprise intelligence mission applications, business systems, and core or shared infrastructure services at designated data centers. Support Microsoft COTS server environments.

Provide specific input to the software components of system design, including hardware and software trade-offs, software reuse, use of COTS and GOTS in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components. Design, test, implement, and integrate software applications or perform software engineering tasks.

Develop standardized Windows server operating systems builds that are compliant with enterprise standards and security policy. Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure server OS build releases are completely tested and provide a consistent core foundation government and commercial applications can be hosted on. Ensure standardized builds are remotely deployable using provisioning software to a bare metal server or virtual machine and include the management agents necessary for efficient state, health, performance, inventory, and configuration data.

-Experience performing Microsoft server systems administration for physical and virtual servers, specifically with MS Server 2012R2 and 2016
-Experience supporting Microsoft COTS server environments and applications

Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Active Directory domains and forests, including bare metal and virtual Windows server management. Schedule installations and upgrades and maintain them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures. Monitor and tune the system to achieve optimum performance levels, and ensure workstation and server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions. Ensure data and media recoverability by implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations, including supporting media management with internal methods and procedures or with offsite storage and retrieval services. Develop and promote standard operating procedures, conduct routine hardware and software audits of servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines. Develop and maintain responsibility of a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database or library of all supporting documentation. Manage and sustain domain replication, group policy objects, and domain organizational unit structure and identify, including implement enhancements proactively to monitor, alert, and report on the security and health of the operational Active Directory environment.

- 4-6 years hands-on experience administering Active Directory Domain services in a Windows Server 2008/2012R2 or higher environment.
- Strong Knowledge of Active Directory concepts and configuration, including security groups, rights managements, delegation, OU structure, object types, and attributes.
- Ability to troubleshoot directory replication, DNS, Group Policy Management, and Distributed File Systems (DFS)
-Experience with implementing and managing Active Directory domains and forests at an enterprise level across multiple physical locations
-Experience with LDAP-based identity management solutions
-3+ years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.x and newer with extensive use of Linux scripting
-Experience with designing, deploying, managing, and configuring identity management systems solutions using common industry LDAP solutions, including Microsoft Active Directory, and other x.500 identity management capabilities
-Experience with Oracle Identity Management solutions and Oracle 10G and newer
-Experience implementing PKI solutions and performing Tier I/II II incident and problem management related to PKI certificate
-Experience installing, managing, and troubleshooting PKI middleware COTS solutions

Install, configure, and manage traffic management systems supporting Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Domain Name System (DNS), load balancing and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Provide technical security engineering support to application administrators to develop Identify and Access Management (IdAM) requirements and solutions. Manage service request queue and provide technical leadership to colleagues. Develop documentation including implementation plans, Request For Change (RFC), Outage Notifications, Authorized Service Interruption (ASI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Conditions Of Operations (CONOPS), System Security Plans (SSP). Communicate project status to Managers in email and voice and video conferences.

• Understanding of Active Directory and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
• Experience with requesting and installing PKI server certificates
• Experience with configuring PKI Certificate Authority (CA) trust bundles, Certificate Revocation List (CRL) and Online Certificate Revocation List (OCSP)
• Experience with Linux operating system, BASH and TCL scripting, including ability to work from the Linux command line environment to edit files, control processes and analyze performance.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot network traffic from layer 1 through 7 with utilities including SSH, nslookup, tcpdump, ssldump, cURL, HTTP GET and Open SSL.

-Experience with network storage technologies including NAS and SAN architecture
-Microsoft and UNIX-based server operating systems Knowledge of working with  VMWare or Hyper-V is a plus
-Experience administering Windows 2008, 2012, 2016 operating systems.  Working knowledge of Powershell is a plus
-Experience with administering Linux, Solaris or CentOS operating systems.  A working knowledge of Linux/UNIX shell scripting language
-Expertise with PKI, RCVS, Red Hat Certificate System, Red Hat Linux, Active Directory, Microsoft Server, Hardware Security Modules (HSM), LDAP, TLS and SSL
-Active Directory concepts and configurations
