Applies extensive technical principles, theories, and concepts to design and develop electrical block diagrams, system schematic diagrams and cable assembly drawings for overall aircraft functional systems including the selection of electro-mechanical components such as connectors, relays, switches, circuit breakers, and terminal junctions to meet Mil Spec requirements and proven commercial practices.
Provides leadership skills to guide a team of engineers to the successful completion of major projects while mentoring junior level engineers on technical principles.
Responsibilities include facilitation of design reviews with key stakeholders to ensure designs meet requirements. Candidate must be able to collaborate in a team environment, prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result, prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously, and comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions.
Additional responsibilities include updating/generating Test Plans, evaluating requirements, generatingelectronic procedures, generating updating Automated Test Scripts, becoming familiar withtest applications andtest requirements, performing the calibration/validation fortest racks, performing test equipment movement and setup, performing functional testing and documenting/ troubleshooting test anomalies.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) related field plus 14 years of engineering experience;OR a Master of Science in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Or Math) related field plus 12years of engineering experience.
Integration or Test experience
Candidate must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level, plus ability to obtain and maintain an SSBI clearance
