Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Test Engineer to support all aspects of Digital & Analog test set design and maintenance. Also, must be familiar with RF test equipment while working as a member of a multi-disciplined engineering team. The successful candidate will possess technical skills in electrical system troubleshooting and test verification capabilities. The candidate will also possess expertise in the developing of test specifications and troubleshooting electrical and RF equipment. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, organized, self-starting, capable of multi-tasking, and have the ability to work effectively with other test engineers and Integrated Product Team (IPT) members. The ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret security clearance is required for this position.
Required Skills:
- Technical background in electrical engineering
- Experience testing analog, digital and RF circuitry and using PC-based testing & simulation
- Proven ability and willingness to use analytical tools to analyze and simulate hardware testing methods prior to program execution
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and decision making with minimal supervision
- Familiar with Digital, Analog and RF Instrumentation tools (Oscilloscope, DMM, Counter, Network Analyzer, Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzer, Power Meter)
- Knowledge of HW/SW Integration & Test Processes and Procedures
- Minimum of 8+ years’ experience
- Secret Clearance required
- U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
- U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
Desired Skills:
- Prior experience in Assembly and Test Planning.
- Strong problem solving skills with ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome difficult technical challenges.
- Ability to prepare test related documentation with minimal revision and review.
- Experience as Test/Hardware Lead
- Basic skills with LabView or other similar electrical testing tools
- Basic MS Office skills
- MSEE
