Job Summary:
We are currently hiring a Sr Principal Systems Engineer - Integrated Product Team Lead to join the Multi-Function Radio Frequency System (MFRFS) Systems Engineering team in McKinney, TX.

The MFRFS Multi-National Forward Operating Base (MNF) KRFS-3 Integrated Product Team Lead will represent the interests of the Mission and Sensing Systems (MSS) business and the Multifunction Radio Frequency Systems (MFRFS) product line. The Integrated Product Team Lead will meet/exceed departmental objectives by leveraging total technical ownership and oversight in developing system requirements, conducting performance trades and analyses, defining product line common product architectures, integration and test planning for the design of exportable radar architectures and system designs for the MFRFS product line.

Overview:
•Provide technical engineering leadership to the MFRFS engineering team
•Lead the success and performance of end to end exportable radar product development.
•Manage cost, schedule and performance, realize the technical requirements, and lead integrated design reviews with team members from other disciplines such as HW and SW Engineering.
•Collaborate and technically engage with major component subcontractors and partners to ensure product line design for export commonality across different MFRFS products.
•Support the capture of new business and understanding the technical roadmaps and product line roadmaps ensuring they are reflected in program planning and execution.
•Collaborate and partner with the Military C2 (MC2)/MSS Engineering Leadership Team on meeting program commitments, and overall financial and growth performance of the organization.
•Travel frequently to domestic sites and customer locations.

An ACTIVE SECRET Security Clearance is required.

Required Skills/Experience:
  • 10+ years’ experience in design for export lead capacity of which 5 years must have been with Radar Systems programs.
  • Capture Management experience in the area of Systems Releasability and Exportability
  • Experience as a Technical Export/Import Advisor for Systems Development and Releasbility
  • Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) experience
  • Familiar with program execution per IPDS requirements.
  • Cost Account Manager Experience and/or EVMS certification
  • Risk and opportunity management experience
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Science or related STEM field.

Desired Skills/Experience:
  • Experience with areas of analog to digital conversion and waveform signal processing including digital pulse compression and matched filtering using Fast Fourier Transforms as well as in RF Systems Requirements Development, Analysis and Management.
  • RF system architecture including optimization of Antenna size, transmit power, tracker processing, digital receiver design, surveillance and fire control concepts of operations and RF performance analysis and trade study development.
  • Department of Defense (DoD), and/or commercial and non-traditional customer sets (e.g. Combatant Commands, Homeland Security)
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.
