Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as an Engineer Systems Test/Principal Engineer Systems Test based out of Aurora, CO.

What You'll get to Do:

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems' NEW MOON program is seeking a dynamic self-starter to join a team of software/systems integrators to continuously integrate software system baselines and prepare them for systems testing and deployment. The successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration with other program organizations. This is a highly challenging opportunity requiring flexibility and commitment. Candidates will need to be broad in their skills, adaptable to a changing environment, and deliver tasks within budget and schedule. Candidates must have the ability to excel in a diverse government/multi-contractor environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Short and long term integration planning and execution of multiple concurrent baselines. This include integrating subsystem functionality into system capabilities per design with an emphasis on system stability and performance
  • Participating in technical exchange meetings, interfacing with customers/SETAs and contributing to a broad range of program deliverable.
  • Articulating product acceptance standards and streamlining integration in support of the overall enterprise vision
  • Responding to various requests from program management for technical information and assisting in resolution of technical issues.
  • Developing test plans and procedures and conducting software systems test as may be required.

Some travel may be required. This position is a direct report to the Integration Lead. A current and active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this position.

Basic Qualifications for a Sr. Principal Engineer Systems Test:

Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of software/systems experience;7+ years with a Masters; 4+ years with a Phd.An additional 4 years of software/systems experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Current and active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a CI poly

Must be Security+ certified within 6 months of hire date

Strong knowledge of/experience in Linux/Unix environments

Experience with SIGINT processing systems

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with VMWare and VOrchestrator

Security+ certification

Architecture Services and ActiveMq

Experience with external interfaces

Experience with large system integration and test

Experience with shell and/or python scripting and/or software development

Experience on New Moon or legacy program is a plus

Experience delivering operational mission systems
