Sr. Principal Contract Administrator

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Contract Administrator to support EMW Strategic Initiatives and Operating Unit. This position is located in Linthicum, MD.

Job Description:

Northrop Grumman has a challenging opportunity in Contract Administration. This Contract Administrator position will be responsible for contracts supporting EMW Strategic Initiatives and Operating Unit and serves a focal point interfacing with key internal and external customers.

The Contract Administrator will act as the primary interface with customers and business partners analyzing customer Requests for Proposal (RFP) , proposal preparation, contract negotiation and contract administration and provides guidance for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Must be a team player, independent, proactive, and possess excellent problem solving.

Duties also include the preparation of proprietary information agreements, teaming agreements, export licenses/agreements and supports Contracts homeroom data calls.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years directly related experience or a Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years directly related experience
  • Recent experience as a Contracts Administrator in the defense industry as either a prime contractor or subcontractor
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Demonstrated experience with highly effective verbal and writtencommunications and presentation communication
  • Familiar with development programs /contracts
  • Experience using SAP or equivalent
  • Good working knowledge of FAR/DFARS
  • Ability to obtain Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Secret clearance that has been adjudicated within the last 5 years
