Sr Information System Technologist II

Raytheon IIS is looking for a successful candidate to provide multi-disciplined engineering support for the Air Force DCGS Systems Integration Laboratory (DSIL) at the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Sustainment Engineering Center (ISEC) in Warner Robins, GA. The DSIL is staffed by an organic workforce, augmented by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to meet the technical needs of the program. Primary tasks include test & evaluation and hardware/software support of the DCGS lab system, enterprise tool development, site acceptance/ tie-line testing, and training the organic workforce. The position also supports the AF DCGS Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) in working and resolving local Tier 1 and Tier 2 Incidents, and Enterprise Tier 3 and Tier 4 Incidents.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • At least 8 years of applicable experience for the Principal (E05/G10) level, or at least 6 years applicable experience for a Senior Info Systems Technologist II (E04/G09) level.
  • US Citizen with existing/active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Current Security+/Security+ CE certification.
  • Possess working knowledge of Operating Systems: Solaris, Windows, Linux (RHEL 6/7).
  • Possess working knowledge of VMWare ESXi (5.5/6.5/6.7)
  • Possess working knowledge of AF DCGS GEOINT System(s): 10.1, 10.2, 10B (GB 4.1).
  • Possess working knowledge of NITF Image processing systems: VIP-C, IESS, IPL, TMAN, GWE, and etc..
  • Possess working knowledge of GEOINT Database systems: Sybase, Oracle, MySQL or etc.
  • Possess working knowledge of GEOINT Workflow.
  • Possess working knowledge of GEOINT Data Flows for GEOINT data types.
  • Possess working knowledge of GEOINT Mission Planning Tools: DSP/CSP.
  • Possess the ability to write and troubleshoot UNIX-based scripting languages: shell, Perl or Python.
  • Operational knowledge of current AF DCGS GEOINT PED operations and TTP's.
  • Operational testing and validation experience.
  • Must be willing and able to travel if required (No travel now but some future travel may be required).
  • Must be willing to work 40-hour work week with shift and weekend work required as necessary to meet DSIL objectives.
DESIRED SKILLS:
  • Past experience with Command or Higher Headquarters level communication and coordination.
  • Core Site DCGS and/or Sensor Experience.
  • Possess manager level knowledge of AF DCGS intelligence IT systems, operating systems, server management, storage systems, workstation management, system backup and recovery, and account creation.
  • Possess working knowledge or Oracle/Dell Storage appliances.
  • Operational mission management and crew supervision experience.
  • Networking (Cisco/ATM) experience or certification.
  • Linux+, RHCSA, or Windows Server/Workstation certification
WORK SCHEDULE: 40-hour work week, with shift and weekend work required as tasked to support DSIL and Enterprise mission requirements.

TRAVEL: Minimal or none; some future travel may be required.

EDUCATION: BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (BS degree = 8 years applicable experience plus required years of experience for level).
