Sr Financial Analyst

The AIM-9X Sidewinder finance group, in the Air Warfare Systems product line has an immediate opening for aFinancial Analyst II supporting the program’s production contracts. AIM 9X has combined Sales of approximately $400M per year with a secure and stable long term business forecast. Responsibilities include creating and tracking progress to budgets, managing large fixed price incentive contracts, variance analysis, quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC), CDRL preparation, data analysis and reporting. Candidate will also be responsible for monitoring the funding, invoicing, and cash collection for the contract.

The position also includes responsibility for maintaining and updating the financial plan for the contract including manpower forecasting, sales, earnings and cash. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with program managers, functional leads, program and finance leadership and the government customer.Frequent interaction with various functions and multiple levels of the organization will be needed, so the successful candidate must possess strong presentation, communication, and professional skills.

Minimum Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and 4 years’ experience in a finance, business management or related role, or 2 years' experience with a Master's degree in a related field .
  • Able to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word, & PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively work in a challenging and fast paced environment while multi-tasking
  • Must be able to obtain DoD secret clearance
Highly Desired Skills:
  • Candidates should be independent, self-motivated, and proactive
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing information and conditions.
  • Experience analyzing production labor and material in PRISM
  • Proposal / negotiation experience is a plus
  • Experience in program finance
