Sr Financial Analyst

The Strategic and Naval Systems (SNS) Product Line has an immediate opening for a senior financial analyst supporting the Redesigned Kill Vehicle (RKV) program. The RKV program represents one of the highest priorities of the U.S. Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) conducted a Best of Breed effort to strategically select system components from Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, and Boeing. This approach has led to a unique and collaborative industry development team where Raytheon plays a major role as the payload integrator. Raytheon Missile Systems acts as a subcontractor to the prime contractor, Boeing, for its efforts as part of the overall GMD program.

Currently the program is working on a +$600M completion contract under which the balance of the development effort will be executed. That effort will include Critical Design Review (CDR), Qualification, and Flight Testing, as well as the delivery of four initial operational payloads. In addition, RKV has been awarded a UCA for a follow on production contract for its first increment to support Long Lead Material in early 2018. The overall Program will be +$1 billion over the next 10 years. Successful execution of this program is critical for SNS and RMS overall as it plays a significant role in protecting our Kill Vehicle franchise.

The RKV program is looking for a self-motivated individual that would like to take on a challenging role that provides exposure to a wide range of activities. The completion contract includes full Contractual Earned Value Management reporting requirements. The candidate will be responsible for supporting timely delivery of Integrated Performance Management Report (IPMR), all formats, and Contractor Cost Data Report (CCDR). The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with Cost Account Managers (CAMs), Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, Program and Finance leadership and the customer. The position also includes responsibility for supporting quarterly Estimates at Complete (EAC); manpower and material forecasts and overall progress towards annual financial metric commitments. The candidate will contribute to team activities to ensure close monitoring of funding, invoice preparation, timely SDRL deliveries and a variety of other activities while working with Program Office/customer to ensure all financial decisions are in accordance with company policies and Government regulations.
