Sr Financial Analyst

The SM-3Finance organization is seeking an individual to join our team supporting the Block IB Production Programs. These programs are a growing portion of the overall SM3 business base with multiple contracts awarded and forecasted. Responsibilities include Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) implementation and maintenance, variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting, quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development, project setup and NWA management. Providing support to Program Managers, IPT leads, and Control Account Managers (CAMs) in establishing and maintaining program budgets and forecasts is also required. Frequent interaction with various functions and multiple levels of the organization will be needed, so the successful candidate must possess strong presentation, communication, and professional skills. Additionally, the selected candidate will be required to support both internal and external earned value audits conducted by the internal Raytheon audit team as well as by DCMA and the customer (MDA). The selected candidate will be required to participate in the development of, and support to, customer monthly business reviews as well as the preparation of detailed CDRL's in support of contract requirements, such as IPMRs, CCDR's and Performance and Cost Reports. Due to the multi-contract/customer nature of the program, the ideal candidate must be able to prioritize and allocate resources in a challenging, fast paced, deadline driven environment.


Minimum Required Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field and 4 years of experience or a MS degree and 2 years of experience

Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, etc...) in program development and execution

Able to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and recommend process improvements
Strong forecasting, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
Proven ability working independently and with cross functional teams

Strong desktop computer skills, particularly in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance


Highly Desired Skills:

Experience in providing business support for contract activities, utilizing cost/schedule performance measurement systems (Earned Value Management System)
Background in Production Business
Experience in using SAP business systems
MPM, APEX EV and wlnsight and other EVM tools a plus
Ability to effectively communicate across various platforms (directly, VTC, phone, instant messaging) and across multiple work sites
