Support business transformation efforts of G-8, G-4 and ASA(FM&C) to achieve readiness at best value through increased effectiveness and efficiency, reduced costs, and maximized use of limited resources. This position is focused on the data and data relationships between the process, systems and information elements to ensure a consistent understanding of the information value chain from start to finish (end to end).


This position seeks to create or identify and align the provenance of data, origins and reporting. It will support the generation of reports, viewpoints and integrated viewpoints that will assist in informing the Army leadership of the status of their business process, systems, capabilities as well as maintain the status of the Architecture (and related data) to inform the business decisions.



Includes the following:

  • EA – 2 years direct experience(16,000 plus personnel sized enterprise for minimum match of the enterprise size – The Army equals 1.4M personnel), or a certification in one of the core EA certification programs
  • Data Scientist core course to support Data Governance program
  • Prefer Army/ DoD Experience
  • Familiarity of DoDAF, FEA
  • Demonstrated Data Visualization experience and techniques
  • Data Governance that includes data mapping, provenance, engineering and analytics
  • Ability to act as lead facilitator in large diverse groups
  • Other contributing activities as required



  • None



  • Masters in Technology and 10 years’ experience in data management, data warehousing, business intelligence, and/or master data management, metadata management, business analysis experience (composing documents, research, testing, metric development, data analysis, report development, etc.)
  • Experience with DoD data architecture, data modeling, and database design and administration.
  • Extensive process improvement experience may be substituted for degree requirements (15 years specific applicable experience).



  • Candidate shall possess and be able to maintain a SECRET facility clearance.



  • Work will be performed primarily in a climate controlled office environment.
  • May require occasional lifting or moving of items up to 25 lbs.
