Sr Business Development Principal II

Jacobs is looking for passionate and driven individuals to join our dynamic Business Development (BD) team. We are a global company of more than 77,000 people that spans across several different markets, including Aerospace, Technology, and Nuclear (ATN) for both Government and Private sector clients. The preferred work location for this position is the Fort Walton Beach FL area but other locations will be considered for candidates with proven experience

Aerospace & Technology business development process and develops, maintains, and advances client relationships through sales strategies and client contacts in alignment with the organization’s strategic business plan.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversees application of the Relationship Based Sales (RBS) process.
• Conducts research and analysis of business opportunities within an identified target market.
• Assesses competition and potential markets by analyzing growth strategies.
• Prospects, develops, and closes a continuous pipeline of sales opportunities.
• Serves as capture manager or proposal manager with responsibility for proposal strategy, preparation, submittal, and/or implementation upon award.
• Develops value propositions that enhance Jacobs’ competitive position and achieve client objectives.
• Contributes to the development of functional or regional sales strategies
• Adapts and executes functional or regional business plans.
• Evaluates key personnel for contract/task bids/proposals, establishing relationships with new clients.
• Generates and fosters positive client relationships.
• Recommends strategic hires, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures when appropriate in support of business development strategies.
• May manage/lead other Business Development personnel.
• Implements quality, safety, and BeyondZero program to promote and incident- and injury-free culture.
• May be responsible for resource allocation, productivity, expense levels, and asset management.

Education and Expereince:
• BS/BA degree and twelve (12) years related experience; additional edu-cation may be substituted for experience.
• Experience leading or managing DoD sustainment, maintenance, modification, repair, and overhaul of major weapons systems.
• Experience leading or managing Major Command weapons systems programs.
• Experience with Program Office desired.
Technical:
• Capability in Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated leadership skills as evidenced by prior supervisory experience.
• Expertise in aircraft maintenance, depot level modifications, logistics supply chain and distribution; and full cycle sustainment and acquisition.
• Familiarity with DoD policies and procedures.
• Active TS Secret is desired
