Space Vehicle Systems Engineer, Mid

As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to support the design and implementation of space based systems to deliver resilient, affordable, and sustainable space capabilities. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize Global Positioning Systems (GPS). You’ll develop your skills in developing and acquiring space systems while gaining experience with delivering sustained, reliable GPS capabilities to America’s warfighters, our allies, and civil users. Grow your skills by merging space vehicle development and acquisition to develop client solutions, assess technical designs, and test programs. You Have:

-1+ years of experience with space vehicle systems engineering, integration, and testing

-1+ years of experience with conducting or supporting space system reviews

-Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word 

-Active Secret clearance

-BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with military space systems and the DoD acquisition system 

-Experience with computer tools, including Confluence and other Di2E tools

-Experience with designing and testing spacecraft subsystems and components

-Knowledge of DoD systems engineering, test, and production policies and practices

-Ability to be highly motivated, have a dynamic work ethic, and contribute to the DoD mission

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills

​-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
