Software Test Engineer 1

The Threat Modeling Center team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as aSoftware Test Engineerbased out of Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado.
What You'll Get to Do:
The Threat Modeling Center is responsible for the development and delivery of high fidelity threat modeling products in support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and MDA's Ballistic Missile Defense System. This position is for a Test Engineer with experience in Modeling and Simulation and Agile software development lifecycle. This is a technically focused M&S application and automation testing position.
Key activities:
  • Development and execution of system level test plans and reports
  • Development and execution of application level test plans and reports
  • Development and creation of the test automation suite
  • Requirements decomposition

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, or Math
  • Systems Engineering Lifecycle background
  • Understanding software development testing methodologies
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Modeling, Simulation, and automation experience
  • Must be self-motivated, able to work in a dynamic team environment
  • Must possess good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong math, physics or engineering background is preferred
  • Experience with Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Experience with test automation suites (eggPlant, Ranorex, etc.)
  • Knowledge of C/C++/Java languages
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
  • Knowledge of the flight characteristics, motion, atmospheric dynamics, and missile performance parameters necessary to model ballistic missiles
  • Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret Clearance
