Software/Systems Engineer for PMO

The Systems Engineer (SE) will support the Program Management Office (PMO) for a large systems engineering program. The SE is responsible for the technical integrity, quality and completeness of a MEAN stack-based Staff Management tool. The SE will develop and enhance major features and functionalities within the tool using imported software libraries and front-end web markup languages. In addition, the SE is responsible for tracking weekly staffing updates and ensuring that the end-users’ input is complete and accurate. The SE will work closely with end-users to capture user requirements and effectively develop those requirements into the tool.


  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline plus at least 6 years of systems engineering experience. A Master’s degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 10 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
  • Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Basic Qualifications:
    • Proficient with all aspects MEAN Stack
    • Proficient with HTML
    • Proficient with CSS
    • Ability to translate and track end-user requirements
  • Desired Qualifications:
    • Very comfortable with MEAN Stack’s backend/server (Express.js and Node.js)
    • Experience with application authentication
    • Experience with the Agile methodology
    • Strong communication skillsAbility to multi-task efficiently
