Software Engineer II (ITASE)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The software engineer in this role works on projects related to the development of ITASE simulation architectures and analytical tools to support modeling & simulation & analysis of foreign threat weapon systems. The ITASE simulation architecture and tools includes runtime components, scenario configuration tools, post-processing tools, and analysis tools.Engineering tasks may include requirements development, design, implementation, testing, documentation, and support.The candidate will work closely with system analysts and Government personnel to coordinate requirements, design, testing, and verification & validation of solutions.

The candidate must be self-motivated, possess strong communication skills, and be willing to work as part of an integrated product team consisting of both Government and contractor personnel. Candidate will develop and maintain software in C++ and other languages on both Windows and Linux platforms.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field and 3 years of experiencerequire experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must be proficient in C++ and Python. Candidate must have experience developing software on Windows and/or Linux platforms. Experience with Qt, MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow desired.Experience in the development and execution of software on high performance computing system clusters desired.Military experience is desired.

***Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess a Final Secret Clearance. The ability to obtain and maintain a TS\SCI Clearance is desired.
