The Kerberos software engineers are developing a Command and Telemetry system that interfaces with a new Mission Planning element. The development includes the design and implementation of new algorithms for Flight Dynamics and Vehicle Models. On Kerberos you will work on a small integrated product team of talented engineers to develop the complex interfaces with the new Mission Planning element.Advanced modeling algorithms will also be developed with complex constraints.
The small team of software engineers will gain experience with a detailed Agile lifecycle, consecutive one month Sprints, working closely with systems and test engineers.Responsibilities include standing up a virtual DevOps environment, requirements analysis, design, development, test, delivery, and maintenance. Languages include Java, C++, and Python.
Additionally, the qualified candidates will be responsible for quickly understanding their assignments based on use cases and carrying them out with moderate supervision. Verbal and written communication skills and problem solving skills will enable the qualified candidate to successfully support Peer Reviews at all phases of the development cycle to ensure successful integration of the software components onto a virtual environment.
Our small agile team works closely with the Chief Engineer and are expected to adapt to evolving problem sets. This allows our engineers to benefit from a flexible work environment where engineers can migrate between components of the C&T system.
Working a 9/80 schedule is also allowed.
